Thirty young swimmers from Soweto joined our annual water safety camp at the Soweto Aquatic Centre. For many of the participants, this was their first ever experience in a swimming pool — a milestone our coaches take enormous pride in.
Over three days, participants learned basic water safety, floating techniques, and introductory freestyle swimming. Three participants completed their first full lap by the end of the camp.
